Demand for organic food decreasing?

Posted by: jean in: Food News

kilkenny-advertiserThe Kilkenny Advertiser speculates today about whether the decline in the organic food market in the UK will spread to Ireland.

Are you buying less organic? My personal feeling about organic food is that I buy it when possible because of the more sustainable farming methods that are used, but am aware that no great health benefit has been definitively proved. I’ve never really been able to afford organic meat anyway, so mostly buy organic pulses, pastas and similar products.  Do you consider organic a must-have?
