Sugar Snap Peas for 85c

I picked up a bag of Sugar Snap Peas, one of my favourite vegetables, in Lidl this week for only 85c.  I’ve never seen them anywhere else for less than two euro, so this is a pretty good deal.  Sugar Snaps are crunchy, sweet and delicious.  They’re particularly good raw in a salad with feta cheese, salad leaves and a viniagrette dressing. They also make a great side dish for meat-and-three-veg: just steam them lightly and add a little butter.
