  1. Eoin Higgins of Style Ireland (Sunday Times) recommends Lidl’s frozen langoustines, €11.99 per kilo.
    His recipe suggests stir frying for 4 minutes after defrosting, and serving with a blue cheese, shallot and white wine sauce, salad and a glass of Chablis.

    I found them a bit pernickety to extract the meat, and the pile of carcasses leftover seemed huge compared to the edible parts …….tasty nonetheless.
