Price Drops at Dunnes Stores

dunnes-price-dropsDunnes Stores are advertising “price drops” on a number of St. Bernard (budget line) branded items. These include:

  • Broccoli (500g), down from €1.49 to €1.09
  • 250g Punnet of Mushrooms, down from €1.19 to 99c

They’re also selling half-price plums, kiwis, oranges, roosters, mushrooms, and broccoli. There’s 50% extra free on all apple trays (except Pink Lady apples) and 1kg organic apple bags. Customers can also pick up two punnets of 250g strawberries for €4.

  1. Good to see stores dropping price on fresh fruit & veg. I’ve always been reluctant to buy pre-packaged mushrooms and the like, I think superquinn and tesco are probably the worst offenders when it comes to excess packaging. If I’m in town I go to Moore st for my veg – large bag of mushrooms for one euro, three loose mixed peppers for one euro. I’m living in Castleknock, does anyone know of any country markets/farmers markets in the Dublin 15 area?
