Easter Weekend Breaks

The Easter Weekend is often perfect for a home holiday: four days off and the weather is looking good.

For insanely sumptous luxury, the only gorgeous five-star Aghadoe Heights Hotel in Killarney are kindly matching their special offer from the Irish Independent’s Holidays at Home magazine for CheapEats readers – €180 per person for one bed and breakfast, one lunch, and one spa treatment. It’s enormously popular so it may already be full for the weekend but this offer is valid till the end of 2009. Thanks to Marie for this offer.

Two nights at the wonderful Temple Spa, with a mini chocolate infusions hamper, full access to spa facilities, dinner one evening and breakfast two mornings, will cost a total of €199-€299, depending on the room. The Chocolate Infusions Easter Sunday Overnight, with breakfast, Easter Sunday lunch, and full access to spa facilities costs a total of €99-€150, depending on the room. The charge is per room rather than per person: very refreshing.

Renvyle House Hotel, one of Jean’s favourite places to eat, is offering Easter Breaks with egg and treasure hunts as well as a supervised play area in the evenings. Three nights bed and breakfast with two dinners costs €379 per person, while two nights bed and breakfast with one dinner costs €262 per person.

Are you going anywhere exciting this Easter? Have you found any good deals?
