Some more tips from our lovely readers in Dublin:

Ken had some good things to say about the new Marco Pierre White restaurant on Dawson St:

Randomly ended up in his new restaurant on Dawson Street last week and thanks to Dine in Dublin week got a 3 course meal, including tea/coffee for under 30 euros: have to say, good choice and the rib eye steak was cooked to perfection. Was like a very generous early bird menu. Service was good and atmosphere lively. On the down side, not many bottles of wine for under 30 quid… and alot of couples people watching rather than enjoying themselves!

Our friend Emma alerted us to a great offer in The Bia Bar, on Stephen Street near the Stephen’s Green Centre. They have two pizzas for €15, Mon-Fri, 3-10pm. The pizzas are all around the €10 mark on the standard menu, and Emma confirmed that they’re really good.

Sally found a good lunch offer on Mary St:

It’s not often you’re surprised by a great value deal, which is why I thought I’d post this. I went to Ann’s bakery this morning, it’s located on Mary St, Dublin 1. I got a lovely soft brown baguette filled with meats and salad and a cup of tea to go, it came to €3.50!!! I couldn’t believe it, I asked was the price correct and he said, “yes, that’s all we charge for rolls and we give the tea free with sandwiches”. Bargaintown!!
