Could this be the crappest offer ever?

This offer is currently being advertised outside Waterstone on Dawson St, Dublin:

waterstones-crapoffer

€6.75 for scrambled eggs and tea!
What the holy crap?  It would be one thing if they were quietly overcharging for their eggs and tea, but to shout about this ‘offer’ with a sandwich board on the street…the mind boggles.

Is this the lamest offer you’ve ever seen?

  1. 2 free range eggs: 65 cents. Tea: 25 cents. Profit: 5.75 euros. Not bad…. for the owner

  2. I presume they throw in a few slices of toast, rocketing the cost up to about €1.00. 🙂

  3. ha ha thats hilarious … i wonder do they charge extra for the added choice of tea or coffee ??? GAS!

  4. oh wow… what an “offer”… I would love to see what this amazing dish looks like!! 😀

  5. was in Little Chef in UK yesterday.

2 slices of toast – without preserves STG1.90 equal €2.20.

Steep and the bread was cheapest white pan

  6. Perhaps it’s made with a dozen Omega 3 eggs, then it’d be about right!
