Pricewatch tests Parma ham

Posted by: jean in: Food Blogs & Websites

lidl-parma-hamOn Monday, while you were all having 99s with scary red sauce, Conor Pope of Pricewatch was  comparing varieties of Parma ham for our benefit.

Parma ham is, of course, one of the best things ever: an alluring mixture of meat and fat and salt.  It’s one of my favourite snacks, and will probably contribute to my eventual downfall from high blood pressure.

It was mildly gratifying to see that the cheapo Lidl Parma that I regularly buy came in as the top option.  I hope this helps convince Lidl-naysayers that the quality is just as good there, even if the brands are sometimes unfamiliar.
