Weekly Roundup

Posted by: peter in: Weekly Roundup

Weekly RoundupEh, what happened this week in the tiny, food related world of CheapEats? Well, the nation cheered and raged as the Spice Burger left our lives, Marks and Spencer cut prices on their non-food range, and Bray’s “click and collect” discount warehouse, CheepCheep, set the bar for low-price groceries.

Jean popped along to the Hop House on Parnell Street and the Flux Cafe in the Science Gallery, while I checked out food on the Dublin-Cork road and suggested that  €13.50 is too much for a salad, even if it’s a really good salad.

Have a great weekend; check out our Classifieds for restaurant bargains and special offers if you’re heading out. See you next week!

Three meals for €7 in M&S at the moment, and great deals on the fantastic stir-fries – two from the aromatic, rainbow and crunchy varieties for just €4.25. Who cares if it’s authentic at that price?
