Sainsbury’s Specials

sainsburys_logoDad was up in Derry visiting his family recently and, as usual, came home armed with a load of groceries from Sainsbury’s. They have some pretty decent treats, and their own range items are – in my humble opinion – a damn sight better than those of Tesco or Dunnes.

Some special offers this week include:

  • McGuigan Bin Series Chardonnay (75cl) – was £9.99, now £4.99
  • Surf Concentrated Liquid Tropical (1.47L) – was £5.52, now £2.76
  • Sainsbury’s Gressingham Whole Duck (approx 2.4kg) – was £6.89 per kg, now £3.44 per kg

Offer expiry dates differ wildly. But click here for more details.

  1. Wouldn’t really make the effort to go North for food – but it is great value for alcohol.

  2. Those ducks are nice too, in my experience its not easy to get good duck! The price is really good.
