Special Offers at Dunnes

Posted by: peter in: Bargains & Special Offers

Dunnes StoresSpecial offers at Dunnes Stores this week include:

  • Carrokeel Salmon en Croute (700g) - was €7.95, now €4.99
  • Green Isle Mushy Peas (750g), Green Isle Skinny Cut Oven Chips (900g), and Donegal Catch Breaded Haddock (450g), all for €7 (save €2.77)
  • Fairy Platinum Dish Washer Tablets (22s), was €9.49, now €4.74

Despite having enough dishwasher tablets to last another month, I’m going to grab some of the Fairy tablets while they’re cheap; as they’re non-perishable I’ll get around to using them eventually.

Some offers expire on August 8 and some on August 18. There’s also some very good half-price toiletries offers. For more details on all the offers, click here.

What do people think are the best value dish washer tablets? I only ever see powerball with 100% extra free…I can’t help but feel that it’s a bit of a con.

How do people find aldi/lidl/dunnes brand dish washer tablets?

Superquinn are doing a deal on Finish All in 1 Powerball. Think its the 35 pack. Was €10.99, now €5.00. I find Finish pretty good, seem to get less damage on my glassware etc.

Got two very good trout fillets at Superquinn for €1 each, and was able to prepare a delicious meal for two people for under €5 – Steamed Trout with Ginger and Spring Onions with Rice and Vegetables – I’ll put up the recipe over the next week or so.
