This week at SuperValu, you can pick up ingredients for a meal for four people for under €7: Carroll’s lasagne with garlic bread and coleslaw, or chicken curry and rice.
Of course, Carroll’s is the most rank lasagne in the world, and a fine example for visiting Italians of just how awful we can make their food. I’m not personally a fan of most curry pastes; has anyone tried the SuperValu own brand curry sauce, and if so, what’s it like? Indeed, how are their own brand products in general?

I dont know about their own brand stuff, but the supreme range is always top notch.

I have used the Super Valu Tika Masala sauce and quite like it, it is one of the lower fat and calorie sauces around.
