  1. Oh Superquinn – my local one in Blanch is so confusing. They seem to re-arrange their layout at least once a week. It’s hit and miss what brands their stocking and where they’ve hidden them. They used to be a nice mix of mid and high end goods, now it’s just confusing. I only go their now with a list of what’s on offer – buy those and leave. Tesco’s become my main grocery store. Too bad, cause I’d have rather supported a local shop.

  2. Tried to buy fairy liquid at Superquinn for €1 as advertised on their special offers brochure last week, but was charged €1.39. It turned out only GREEN fairy liquid was a euro and not YELLOW. I returned it, got my money back, and bought fairy liquid at Tesco for €1 – all colours!

  3. But theres a dunnes in the shopping centre Michelle.

  4. In fairness to SuperQuinn, they’re trying to compete, yet promote Irish produce. There’s less high end products as I assume they just weren’t selling.
I think the offers are great there. Sea Bass fillets for €2.. Trout for €1 etc.
As for Dunnes being Irish… the brand might be Irish but Tesco have more Irish products which is what counts in my book.

  5. New Superquinn offers should also be up Tuesday Aug 18 or Weds Aug 19.
