  1. Very interesting how you slag off tesco for their dealings with Irish producers but encourage people to shop across the border at the well meaning ASDA (Wal Mart)!

  2. Hi John. That’s totally a fair point; Asda’s parent company Wal-Mart make Tesco look like an organic vegan environmentally friendly co-op market run by local community hippies, kittens, puppies, and the fairy godmother association.
    But I’m not exactly encouraging anyone to shop at Asda, just including details of their specials – as we do with Tesco. We have many readers in Northern Ireland and along the border so it seems only fair. I strongly encourage all readers to slag off both hyper-giants!

  3. Hi Martin. We just link to the specials, we are not advertising for Asda, nor are we Asda! I’m sure they have a few Irish products, although more by default than design. But I doubt there are very many…
