Aldi’s current Super6 includes scallions for just 39c, celery for 49c, iceberg lettuce and potatoes at 59c each, large onions at 69c, and 2 courgettes for 99c. Nice deal, and it’s valid until September 12.
Also at Aldi, you’ll find the usual range of Thursday specials. This week, there’s a focus on Italian specialties such as:
- Bruschetta Spread (170g) – €1.49
- Gilt Head Sea Bream Fillets – €1.99
- Italian Salami (200g) – €2.69
I think Aldi stock some suprisingly good brands, often better than what you’ll find in Superquinn, SuperValu, Tesco, or Dunnes; it might be worth having an Italian feast.
Lastly, specials for Sunday are a hotch-potch. Check them out here.

Hey folks, just got this from Aldi, hope it clears it up 🙂
“Aldi has two super 6 offers running concurrently at the moment. The offer you have blogged on the first offer, while a second offer includes Golden Delicious Apples (6 pack), Broccoli (500g), Carrots (1kg), Kiwis (6 pack), Pears (750g) and Gala Red Apples (6 pack) on offer for 49c each. Both offers run until September 12th.
Hope this clarifies it for your readers.”

Until September 12th? I wonder what’s going on that they’re running two offers concurrently for two weeks instead of a month… perhaps some kind of mix-up in Aldi head office that they then had to follow through with! Either way, carrots+broccoli+potato+celery+scallions+pears+apples = €3.43, and that is why I love Aldi.
