Win! The new Zest cook book

Posted by: jacqueline in: Chefs | Competitions | Cookbooks

zest-opened1Competition Closed at 4pm, Tuesday Oct 13. Check back tomorrow to see if you’re a winner.

Cooking is a feel-good act anyway, but if you want to tip the scales of generally feeling fabulous, then make the next cookery book you buy ‘Zest’, the proceeds of which will go to the Irish Hospice Foundation.

About Zest

Zest is stuffed full of gorgeous recipes, 180 in total, and it caters to all cookery levels. Heavy hitters in the culinary world have contributed their wisdom, including Kevin Dundon, Richard Corrigan, Derry Clarke and Kevin Thornton. Its format is perfect for the dinner party-phobe, as each participating restaurant has provided recipes for starter, main course and dessert, with photographs to show you exactly what they should look like (don’t let this stifle your creativity though!)

zest-closeup-on-tableThe foundation does amazing work supporting and developing the Irish hospices who take wonderful care of people with life-limiting illness – and their relatives too. Many of our lives have been touched by terminal illness and the death of a loved one, and do you know what? It reminds you that the very, very simple things are the only ones that really matter. One of them: eating together. Cooking for someone else. Eating with your family, eating with your lover. So you can feel ok about spending €20 on this cookbook I think. It’s for a good cause. Go to www.zestcookbook.ie for more info.

To Win

The Irish Hospice Foundation have generously donated five copies of the book to be raffled here on CheapEats. To enter, simply pop a comment in the box below. As usual, the winners will be chosen at random. Remember, enter once and you have five chances to win.
