The Temple Bar Chocolate Festival takes place this weekend, running from today until Sunday.  The program has a mix of free and paid events, and there are also some special offers on chocolate-themed menus in restaurants around the Temple Bar area.

Some (free!) items of interest from the programme:

• Children’s Baking Workshop with Divine Fairtrade Chocolate in Smock Alley Theatre
• Chocolate-inspired Book and Poetry Reading in the New Theatre
• Chocolate Artisan Fair in Meeting House Square

My weekend will mostly be taken up with escorting a tiny pirate to Hallowe’en activities, but I’m hoping I’ll find time to drop in to the Chocolate Fair tomorrow afternoon.  If any of you make it along to any of the events, please let us know how they went.
