Special buys at Aldi

Posted by: peter in: Bargains & Special Offers

AldiThere’s always some interesting and afforable new food to try at Aldi, and this Thursday’s special buys include:

  • Specially Selected crisps (300g) – €1.99
  • La Maison de Cassoulet goose fat (340g) – €2.99
  • Cracker selection – €2.49

Click here to see them all. 300g of goose fat costs €3.89 in Tesco and €4 in Superquinn. Is goose fat much of a muchness, or does the brand matter? In any case, La Maison is a decent brand.

Aldi’s ever-reliable Super6 offer – a selection of fruit and veg from 49-99c – can be seen here.

apologies if this has been mentioned but Aldi are now selling Irish craft beer! They have a “Traditional Irish Ale” (brewed by the people who make O’Hara’s stout) at 5.99 for 4 330ml bottles. there’s a thread on it here http://www.irishcraftbrewer.com/Community/viewtopic.php?p=41929&sid=fad30a08def95384042904a80023fbfc
