Roses are everywhere this week, from SuperValu to Aldi, Lidl, Dunnes, and Marks and Spencer. But are they cheaper in the supermarkets than the florists, and does anyone have a smidgin of sympathy for the florists, who must have been relying on Valentines’s to struggle through?
