Win! Dinner for two from PromoZebra.com

Looking for good deals online? CheapEats has hooked up with PromoZebra.com, a bargain website that’s already established in Italy, Spain and Germany and has now entered the Irish market.

How it works

Talbot101: a recent deal you may have missed on PromoZebra.com

Talbot101: a recent deal you may have missed on PromoZebra.com

The concept is simple. Every day, PromoZebra.com offers a great deal on something to do in Dublin, including eating out, visiting clubs, and much more. If it appeals, you can buy a voucher for the deal through PayPal.

A ticking counter on PromoZebra.com‘s homepage indicates how many other people have signed up to the deal, and how many more need to sign up for the deal to be on. You’ll only be charged for the voucher if enough other people also buy.

If a deal is successful, you will receive an e-mail with a voucher code. Just print it and make sure to bring it to the business when you want to redeem the voucher.

If the minimum number of people is not reached, there is no deal and of course you won’t be charged. If this happens, try again tomorrow!

Since PromoZebra.com always has a minimum number of people before the deal is on, they always have great offers. It’s an idea that’s taken off in other European countries and is now set to do the business in Ireland.

Seems like a great idea and its great that it seems to have a strong restaurant discount slant but there should be more than one deal going at a time. Early days yet I suppose.

A good idea as long as the voucher doesn’t expire too soon – e.g. can’t drop everything and go for a meal on the spot, need to book babysitters in advance etc

This is already taken off in Europe and is bound to be a big hit here as well. A great recession beating idea. :o )

I like Promo Zebra, it’s a good idea and an attractive site.

It is crying out for a mobile version however.
I’d much rather connect from my android phone.

it sounds good in theory, but I find the current deal too restrictive (if I understood correctly, it’s valid only on Thursday may 13th?!?).

Have signed up to the mailing list though, and looking forward to discovering other deals.

There seems to be a glitch on the promozebra website. I can’t look about the website without registering first. The idea sounds good but I would never register with any website without having a good look about first.

Good idea. If it can sucessfully offer deals to places that people want to go (or try-out) then it could be a winner – but needs to be able to offer a good stream of appealing offers for exciting venues to keep me subscribed.

If the same old offers are recycled for uninspiring restaraunts then I will be unsubscribing farily quickly….
