What’s strange about smoked ham? I thought it was fairly standard. Whenever I (rarely) order a ham from the butcher the first question is smoked or green.
We always buy meat in Lidl! We get sliced ham, chicken or turkey for lunchtime sandwiches – they have no added water so no slimey ham! We buy rashers there, and frankfurters. They also do good parma ham/prosciutto and chorizo. We buy the lean steak mince and sometimes the stewing steak. They also do a great frozen half leg of lamb that I pop in the slow cooker. Aldi don’t have the same size packets of sliced meats for sandwiches so I don’t shop there as often, but they do have a better selection of sugar, flour, fruit and nuts for baking. I have yet to try the Aldi steaks, maybe this weekend!

Sure, I’ve HEARD of smoked ham fillets, but I don’t much like the sound of ’em. What would you DO with a smoked ham fillet?
