Special offers at Superquinn, 8 Sept 2010

flyer_10a_pg1More brilliant special offers at my personal favourite supermarket Superquinn, making the trip there very worthwhile. I particularly like the 50 per cent deals on Superquinn’s unbeatable meat and fish. Time to stock the freezer, methinks.

Current specials at Superquinn include:

  • Sillian Or Irish corn fed whole chicken  (1.1kg) – half price – now €3.99
  • Plaice fillets – half price – now €10.40 per kg
  • Sun All in One Green Power dishwasher tablets – €7.49 each – buy one get one free
  • French wine sale – many wines reduced or on special offer

The current offers are valid until Tuesday September 21. Click here for details.

  1. Corn fed chicken doesn’t mean free-range. Unfortunately, the cheap chickens are still making it to our shelves. I know it’s tempting, but don’t buy cheap chicken. Buy twice as less (may be once a fortnight rather than once a week) and indulge in a good corn-fed free range bird. Your tastebuds will thank you for it

  2. I do agree Nanazolie, but not everyone gets that message. I’ve given up telling some friends that St Bernard chicken or Tesco Value chicken is unpleasant, stringy, a false economy etc! And of course for many people struggling to feed a family of five, the cheap chicken is the only option.
