Oxfam Ireland and Irish Restaurants team up for Pakistan

Oxfam Ireland and the Restaurants Association of Ireland are teaming up over the coming month to raise vital funds for Oxfam’s life-saving response in Pakistan. You can choose to donate to the appeal at participating restaurants nationwide.

Oxfam are reaching up to 600,000 people in Pakistan with clean, drinking water, shelter, emergency supplies and disease prevention kits. Every cent raised through participating restaurants will go directly to helping the victims of the floods.

The participating restaurants are:

  • Ely gastro pub
  • Bodega! Restaurant & Cocktail Bar
  • Il Corvo
  • Chile Banana
  • Kingfisher Restaurant
  • Yaad Gar Restaurant
  • Cafe Sol
  • Sol Bistro
  • Da Tang Noodle House
  • Clancy’s Bars & Restaurant
  • StoneCutters Kitchen
  • SOLAS Restaurant & Late Cocktail Bar

  1. Sorry, but it’s not very clear. Does it mean that if you eat at one of the participating restaurants, they will donate the profits to Oxfam? Or that you can do a donation at these restaurants to go to Oxfam?

  2. Oxfam has distributed information and Oxfam addressed freepost envelopes to participating members of The Restaurants Association of Ireland. Customers may put the a cheque or credit card donation on the slip provided in the envelope and have it posted by the restaurant or take the freepost envelope home to post directly themselves.
