check your tesco receipts carefully! the special offers didn’t show up for me. Then I had to wait *half an hour* for my money to be (grudgingly) refunded.
I am a regular Tesco shopper and I spend a lot of time at customer services getting my money back. Most members of staff like to argue about it, despite standing infront of an enormous sign that says that they have to give you the item for free if they have overcharged you. Watch your receipts at Tesco, the offers are often not added to their system.
