Four €25 M&S vouchers up for grabs

Competition closed. Check back Tuesday to see if you’re a winner.

To mark the launch of the summer and the start of alfresco dining, Marks and Spencer have generously provided four €25 vouchers to give away.

Regular readers will know that we’re big fans of M&S. The Dine In for Two for €12.50 deal is easily the best supermarket offer in Ireland.

This weekend I picked up wine, sirloin steak, chips, and cheesecake; this is pretty much getting two top-class meals for free (incidentally, for the week that’s in it, my friend J. Headen Esq. commented that customer service in M&S is always excellent).

M&S marinaded meats, sauces, marinades, and salads are perfect for the barbeque season. Come hell or high weather, my mouth is watering at the thoughts of the sticky smoked paprika BBQ chicken I picked up as part of the current dine in offer.

But it’s not all about the barbeque! I recently organised a perfect seaside picnic with their hummus, crackers, salads, sausage rolls, delicious pink lemonade, and fresh cakes. By availing of their offers it all came to around €15 for a very fancy lunch for two

I’m lucky enough to be attending the M&S annual BBQ later this week, so I’ll report back on the full range next week.

  1. Love their cookies! Count me in please!

  2. I love M & S I wish there was a store in every town in Ireland. Their food is just amazing

  3. Don’t live near a M&S but enjoy and have tried their foods – could make use of 25E !

  4. Food always excellent. Staff are consistently helpful and kind. Love, love love it there.

  5. been getting the feed from this blog for a while, actually visited for the first time today(was intrigued to see comments on the ‘toto’ review and then saw that I had missed this. Consider me entered.

  6. Love love love m&s food!

  7. I love the Dine in for 2 offers in M&S. I rarely go there if that offer is not on (it’s a bit out of the way) but I always buy more things when I am there! Their cocoa is great (and fairtrade) and they have lovely jams. 🙂

  8. Adore M&S, get their meal deal and a DVD for the same price as a burger out and cinema ticket – tastier food, no sticky floors, no babysitter and a bottle of wine to boot! Can’t say fairer than that. Also love the consistently edible deli fare – chicken that looks and tastes like chicken! Radical!

  9. Love love love m&s. Comes in so handy when time is tight! The quality is brilliant too

  10. The variety they offer is second to none – and they have the best selection of sauces and sides and picky bits ever, I can never leave with only one thing!

  11. I’m already drooling…. Yum yum yum…. Pretty please… 🙂

  12. It would be better for my waist that M&S didn’t do biscuits… NOM!

  13. M&S food is so scrumptious, it’s a taste of heaven.

  14. I really like the M&S Dinner for two deal-it’s great value and you can eat top quality fast food without the hassle of cooking when you don’t feel like doing so. Well done M&S.

  15. I love Dine in for Two!
When I was a student I was felt very extravagant when getting it but in fairness you get so much out of it!

  16. Trolly cuisine at its best for me!

    Finest products.
    Expertly presents.
    Leave my pocket pleased
    and tummy contented.

  22. quality food, worth a little bit extra, for a special treat, hope I win…

  23. Its like shopping, only nice. Great staff, original food. Its luxury.

  24. Yep

All good but for anyone who cares about Ireland and our economy you might just ask yourself why M&S stocks hardly any Irish food. If you knew how hard local producers have to work to get a look in with international multiples you’d think twice about singing the praises of M&S when they do so little to support Irish producers.

  25. I love M&S…their lemon tart slices are to die for….

  26. Love their food, but would love to treat myself to a summer top.

  27. M&S reminds me of childhood trips to England, because we didn’t have M&S here when I was little!

  28. Love M&S but a bit too expensive for us poor students 🙁

  29. When I worked in Temple Bar years ago, I’d sometimes walk over to the M&S on Grafton Street to get lunch, but I’d joke that I could never leave without spending at least €20 – I’d invariably be tempted by loads of other things to bring home. Not much has changed since then! I’d love to win a voucher.

  30. Really love their deal. Can eat for days on it!

  31. Best supermarket ever, would love this prize to stock up on the meal for two for 12.50 which is a fantastic promotion

  32. Love M & S, gorgeous food, dine in for 2 is great value.
