Theatre of Food at the Electric Picnic

It’s that time of year again. A trough full of pie, mash, and mushy peas can only mean one thing: Pieminister at Electric Picnic.

But, amazingly, the pie is being overshadowed this year, and nosh is really coming to the forefront with the launch of The Theatre of Food. Demos, wine tasting, pop up dining, samples, cooking demos with top chefs including Derry Clarke of L’Ecrivian, flash tea parties, bacon curing demos, a wine bar, gourmet speed dating, foraging trails, and more will take place at a dedicated food area.

It’s a really exciting line up for food lovers, and a great addition to a festival that’s already renowned for its great eating options.

More details to follow.

Are you going to Electric Picnic? What are you looking forward to this year?

  1. So, Saba won the Bridgestone award. I wasn’t enormously impressed with the selection of pies from Pieminister this year.
