Special Offers at Superquinn

irish-festival-landing-pageWould you believe that, despite my regular exhortations to shop around, I don’t? When I lived in Wicklow, I was near a Dunnes and a SuperValu, so I’d shop in either and then go to Lidl for the basics.

Now I live in Dublin and  prefer Aldi. But I almost never go there as I’m right right beside a Lidl. The other nearby supermarket is Superquinn, and it’s my new second port of call.

Last week, I brought €50 to Lidl for my weekly shop and was gasping and wheezing with amazement when the bill came to €15.32. Of course, you can’t get everything you want in Lidl, so I popped down to Superquinn for the few little extras. It came to €35. Again, it’s those lovely luxuries at Superquinn that I can’t resist – and those great special offers.

The latest specials, valid until Tuesday October 13 include:

  • Spend €50 or more at Superquinn this week and get free bread and milk next week
  • Superquinn Chicken Fillets (400g + 50% extra free) – €9.79 each
  • French Wine Sale – La Croisade Range (75cl) – half price – was €15.99, now €8

There’s a lot more besides; click here to see them all. Some good deals there, although I’d advise against returning specially to Superquinn for the free bread and milk. Might be handy if you’re going there anyway.
