Kids allowed, certainly. You might let me know what age they are in case Wafty has any entertainment up her sleeve – colours and the like.
It is linen tablecloths, coffee, tea and tiered stands, so long as the kids understand what’s involved, they’re very welcome. There’s also a space upstairs an adult could retire to with them if things get rowdy (which I’d have to do with my kids!).
Loved it. What a lovely way to spend a few hours on a Saturday and raise money for a really worthy charity. The decor was lovely with lots of quaint mis matched delph. The food was nyomy and those fairy cakes that went around at the end were to die for – beautiful (had to be homemade) jam and just milked this morning fresh cream. Big pat on the back to Wafty B’s Ruth and all involved.

This would also make a lovely Mother’s Day gift…

Thanks for posting this Jean. We’re getting lots of bookings, though weirdly noone is going for the 11am slot.
Get out of bed!

The tea party is now booked out. Keep an eye on Wafty Beetroot on Facebook for other pop-ups (a picnic in a hidden garden…etc.)

Hi Laine,
Thanks, just seeing your comment now. We loved it, and loved having all the guests come into the space for just one day.
