Sat 29th Oct: Cheapeats Cake Sale for Barnardos

Where: Upstairs in the Grand Social, 35 Liffey St, Dublin 1

When: 12pm till 3pm (or until treats run out!)

Come along to the Grand Social on Saturday for the Cake Sale to support Barnardos, and have some fun at the Hapenny Flea.

The Hapenny Flea Market runs from 11 till 5 and you can buy vintage, accessories, jewellery, books, records, crafts and much more.  All stall holders will be in fancy dress this weekend, there’ll be a hair stylist there to turn your scarecrow do into Veronica Lake in a flick and there’ll also be face painting for kids.  The Grand Social is a full bar that also serves tea and coffee, so it’ll the perfect place to relax with a coffee and cake if you’re out shopping this Saturday.

The Cake Sale

Loads of talented home cooks and food bloggers from all over Dublin have signed up to bake and we’re going to have an amazing array of mouth-watering goodies. A sneak preview of some of the treats: raspberry shortcake bars, carrot cake cupcakes and chocolate mocha porter cake, just to mention a few!

We’ll also have a raffle for a gorgeous hamper of baking ingredients and equipment from Odlums, and anyone donating their baking will be entered in the draw for free.
