Ah the predictable moaning when we feature a high-end restaurant. As it says on our About page, and as we have repeated here many, many times: “We cover everything from cheap and delicious snacks, to high-end restaurants that are worth every penny.”
I agree with Jean, for the quality of the food served in One Pico, it really is a “cheap” eat. It’s excellent value.
I had a long lunch there last year with a friend and it still stands out as one of the better restaurant experiences of the year. I coudn’t recommend it enough.
One Pico is probably my favourite restaurant in Dublin, of all the great value food I’ve had over the years their lunch offer and early bird have yet to be beaten!
Have eaten lunch here on a few occassions. For quality of food, service and overall atmosphere I think it is one of the best value higher end options around.
Also like the fact the wine starts around @ 20 euro as sometimes the wine can turn what seems like good value treat into an expensive day out.
Yep, the moaning is as predictable as sunrise. A fantastic three-course lunch and a long afternoon of lingering for €25 is incredibly good value – a decent three course lunch in a semi- okay Dublin restaurant wouldn’t cost a lot less. One Pico would almost make me want to return to Ireland!
You had me at “butter roasted….” Sounds great but serving food on a slate puts my teeth on edge. The thought of scraping my fork across slate makes me heave. May all my troubles be so small 😀

Had to take a second look at the URL to see what the name of this site is again.

Cheap is relative J, chill out! I wouldn’t have thought of eating there on my budget, but will hopefully get an opportunity to try it out sometime.
