If you’re further south in Mississippi in the Laurel area I’d recommend Charlie’s Catfish House. It’s a bit out of the way but it’s worth the drive. The food is so consistent they have the menu permanently stenciled on the wall!

My god! That Snack Box really *is* eloquent and well spoken. I would definitely seek him out as a food writer should I own a restaurant or such.
