People will go to the most convenient shop, hence the term, convenience store, regardless of loyalty to one or the other. Although recently I would be put off from Mace on the basis of their new radio ad campaign with that slag Brendan O’Connor. I know the man has probably never even set foot in a Mace in his life but just the thought of sharing any kind of room with him is quite frightening. For me it has a lot to do with the colours as well. I don’t like Centra because their yellow and blue combo reminds me of being on a Ryanair flight. Spar reminds me of Christmas. I like that.
