Grab and Go

Posted by: peter in: Fast Food

Passing through the Ilac Centre with the lovely photographer Sue Jefferson, I was horrified to see this:

I’m that weirdo who used to stand outside the Grab and Go on Dame St. loudly protesting about hot food from vending machines. I thought I’d seen them off, but clearly not.

This is very very very cheap fast food. But it looks grim. I reckon you’d need to be pretty skint and incredibly busy to resort to this. But maybe I’m being a food snob.

Ah, but they pale in comparison to Febo. And yes, I’ve tried it… it’s super popular in the Netherlands.
