Special Offers at Superquinn

superquinn the business logoThe latest set of special offers at Superquinn kick off today, and there’s a great selection. As well as half-price leg of lamb, pork Steak, and organic salmon, bargain-hunters can find:

  • Superquinn Frozen Tiger Prawns (400g) – was €11.79, now €6
  • Bord na Mona Instant Lighting Charcoal (2kg) – was 6, now €4
  • Roma Bolognaise Sauce (500g) – was €2.05, now €1
  • Superquinn Mediterranean breads – were €3.59, now €2
  • Colgate Sensation Whitening/ Advanced Whitening Range – half price – prices vary, save up to €2.30

There’s also a clearance sale on selected wines, where you can save between €1.55 and €8 on some bottles. All offers are valid until Tuesday July 21. You can download a pdf of all the offers here, but be warned that’s it’s a large file – nearly 8MB – so it might take a minute or so to load depending on your broadband speed.

Unlike other supermarkets, Superquinn don’t always have a selection of special offers – with the exception of the odd in-store reduction or discount, they seem to run them on alternate fortnights. Hence you’ll notice that they have a smaller title in CheapEats’ tag cloud.  However, when they do have offers on, they tend to be excellent. If you shop carefully at Superquinn you’ll get some delicious foods and save a good whack too.

  1. Their special offers are usually excellent, however you never really know what your going to find!last couple of weeks they had 2 packs of fruit for €5, excellent value considering the cherries alone would have cost me €4.49, included in the offer were strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, blueberries and as mentioned cherries! they were decent sized packs too!

  2. Only took a few seconds to download the pdf. Have to say I was surprised, the offers are quite good! & their food is yummy, didn’t really think they were playing the specials game but these offers seem very good. I was also surprised to see quite a lot of good non-food offers, not usually Superquinns forte, pleasantly surprised!

  3. I bought the 2 frozen Angus Beef Burgers. @ € 2 i wasn’t expecting much but they were 6oz before pan frying and they weren’t much smaller after. I was thrilled with them and went straight back up to buy more for the freezer.

  4. They have great sirloin burgers too. They are fresh though from the butcher not frozen. Really good quality meat & you can taste the difference – some of the best burgers I’ve had. Think they are on special offer at the moment as well. Think I just talked myself into getting some for dinner today!

  5. I love, love, love Superquinn. Ok, it can be a bit more expensive but you can always find the things you want like chillies and ginger which arent prepacked and maple syrup (why can you never get this in any other supermarket – in tesco they dont believe you when you say that their maple syrup flavoured golden syrup is not maple syrup!!). Oh and I havent even started on the selection of cheese….
