I usually prefer to try a restaurant myself before recommending it here, but so many different readers have contacted us to recommend Keshk on Leeson St that I think it’s a safe bet. The novelty about this Greek/Mediterranean restaurant is that you can BYOB and no corkage charge is applied. Handily, there’s a wine shop right next door where you can pick up a quality bottle.
Some friends of mine ate there recently and raved about it, saying that they got delicious food for a great price. Tom Doorley also gave it some effusive praise in the Irish Times magazine back in June. Apparently it’s now extremely and deservedly popular, so you may want to book in advance if you’re heading along.
Keshk is at 129 Upper Leeson St in Dublin 4.
