There’s cheaper booze for St. Patrick’s Day, special offers for Mother’s Day, and the usual range of Eurosaver deals. All offers are valid until March 23. Click here for details.

To coincide with St. Patrick’s Day, Superquinn is running an “Irish festival” from March 10-23. The supermarket sources over 80% of its fresh foods locally. During the festival, Superquinn will be showcasing the best of Irish food from local producers and suppliers in its 23 stores, with brands such as Truly Irish, Country Crest, Dunns, Gourmet Garden, and Glanbia to the fore.

Food For ThoughtThey’re also relaunching their a monthly Artisan Festival in their top ten stores, giving a chance for small artisan producers to trade in a multiple retailer. It’s great to see them make a move to bring more choice to customers and stands in contrast to how some other multiples (cough Tesco Dunnes cough) have wielded their power.

Artisans at the next event will include Carlow Foods, The Scullery, and Soul Bakery. The Artisan Festival will take place on Friday 19th and Saturday March 20 in Ballinteer, Knocklyon, Lucan, Swords, Sutton, Blackrock, Blanchardstown, and Sundrive stores in Dublin, as well as the branches in Limerick and Waterford.
