In Marks and Spencer today, I noticed that 225g fresh cranberries are half price, reduced from €4.19 to 2.09. At Tesco, these festive fruits are priced €3.19 for 300g. Or €2.49 for 340g at Superquinn.
I’m making a few of my own sauces and chutneys to bring to my parents’ this Christmas, including this cranberry sauce from greatfood.ie.
It can be put together for slightly less than a half-decent shop bought jar.

Both recipes are really quick and easy, and well worth the effort.
