  1. M&S also have a great wine in stock. I dont know if it is a mistake, but they have a 50cl bottle of low alcohol red or white wine for €2.99. Its part of their attempt to stop us losing the run of ourselves and getting drunk at home, out of the watchful eye of our peers. I tried the red, I think it was about 9%, and a litre of very drinkable wine for €5.98, is the best value in town. I cant remember the grape variety exactly, but I will be purchasing again at lunchtime, so will let you know then. Hic.

PS For the fat fighers among us, its forgiving on the waistline too.

  2. The last time this offer was on I got the rotisserie chicken and have to say it was excellent value- got dinner for two, lunch for two and a chicken curry out of it. (Course, you’d need to like chicken a LOT to do the same).

  3. My only irk is that the white wine is nearly always a Chardnony, not a popular grade with many.

  4. sauv blanc available today. grabbed the lemon sole, frites and cheesecake. great offer, lovely treat!

  5. I can vouch for the crispbakes, frites, profiteroles and merlot. YUM.
