I use Dunnes Stores chopped (not St. Bernard) and they’re fine. PriceWatch did a comparison on tinned tomatoes a while back, and Dunnes came out on top.
I get an Italian brand of tomatoes at The Best of Italy in Dunville Avenue in Ranelagh. I buy a tray of them and they work out at 50c each. Not sure of the brand, but they always have an Italian brand at approximately this price, and they are always very good compared to anything I’ve bought in a supermarket.

It’s got to be de cecco for me, I’m fine with chopped. I find them as good as whole but de cecco is a very good brand so maybe that’s why.
