This weekend’s Irish Times came with the Discover Ireland Magazine, full of special offers for Autumn. Some of them offer shockingly good value:
- Delphi Mountain Resort, Leenane, Co. Galway: 2 B&B and 1 dinner (weekend) – €139per person/ 2 B&B and 1 dinner (midweek) – €99pp
- The five-star Sheraton Fota Island Hotel and Spa, Cork: 2 nights B&B and 1 dinner (midweek) – €119pp/ 1 night B&B and 1 dinner (weekend) – €134pp
- Renvyle House Hotel, Connemara, Co. Galway: 3 B&B and 2 dinner – €225pp (amended from incorrect figure given in the magazine)
I may regret sharing this information with you, as I’m hoping to take advantage of one these offers myself.

UPDATE: The Discover Ireland Magazine appears to have made a mistake. Renvyle House Hotel have been in touch to let us know that the original information about their special offers in this magazine was incorrect. The real price is as listed above: €225pp. I did think the €89 offer was a bit too good to be true.
