  1. I couldn’t resist the microwave egg-boiler today. Brought it home, put four eggs and some water in it, popped it in the microwave for 10 minutes… perfect hard-boiled eggs!

    I wonder if I need my hob at all now 🙂

  3. Not food, but we bought some of their trucks etc for the kids for Christmas, and a pair of Disney PJs, they look great!

  4. It’s not particularly faster than the hob because it doesn’t cook the eggs directly (they are shielded by aluminium). Instead they are steamed.

    It saves me time though, because I don’t have to watch a pot to see when it boils. Nor do I have to leave my desk immediately to turn off the hob when they are done. Very convenient.

    I presume also that it saves energy since I’m heating far less water.
