Looking for good deals online? CheapEats has hooked up with PromoZebra.com, a bargain website that’s already established in Italy, Spain and Germany and has now entered the Irish market.
How it works
The concept is simple. Every day, PromoZebra.com offers a great deal on something to do in Dublin, including eating out, visiting clubs, and much more. If it appeals, you can buy a voucher for the deal through PayPal.
A ticking counter on PromoZebra.com‘s homepage indicates how many other people have signed up to the deal, and how many more need to sign up for the deal to be on. You’ll only be charged for the voucher if enough other people also buy.
If a deal is successful, you will receive an e-mail with a voucher code. Just print it and make sure to bring it to the business when you want to redeem the voucher.
If the minimum number of people is not reached, there is no deal and of course you won’t be charged. If this happens, try again tomorrow!
Since PromoZebra.com always has a minimum number of people before the deal is on, they always have great offers. It’s an idea that’s taken off in other European countries and is now set to do the business in Ireland.

There have been a few similar style sites opening recently. Synergy.ie being another one. I like the idea of them and they do seem to give good value.

Good idea. If it can sucessfully offer deals to places that people want to go (or try-out) then it could be a winner – but needs to be able to offer a good stream of appealing offers for exciting venues to keep me subscribed.
If the same old offers are recycled for uninspiring restaraunts then I will be unsubscribing farily quickly….

I dont like the way it tries to force you to sign up to the site with an annoying popup that won’t go away.

I think it’s a great idea. The Canters Restaurant Deal is super – especially that it’s Valid on a thurs night. As most good deals run Mon-Wed and stop at a certain time. Looking forward to seeing what else comes up!!!
