There’s loads of recent additions to the Aldi range – including ice cream, pasta sauces, southern fried chicken (y’all), rice cakes, and jam, which is currently being eaten directly from the pot by our very own Maria Crispy. She’ll have plenty to say it about soon.
The Brannigan’s sausages, which I shared with my parents, are top class: lots of pork, not too fatty, the perfect texture, and great flavours: there’s both garlic and herb & chilli options. They’re great value too – just €1.99 for six top quality (I hesitate to use the “gourmet”, but we’re in that territory) sausages.
