Lidl’s Specials

Lidl LogoConsidering my utter failure to get my herb garden going, Lidl’s starter vegetable packs – part of its Thursday to Saturday specials – might be worth the €2.99 outlay. They’re selling onion planting sets for 99c and potted Italian herbs for €2.99. You’ll find full details of their specials – which also includes a five pack of men’s T-shirts for €9.99 and a household ladder for €27.99 – here.

From next Monday, Lidl’s specials include printers for €74.99, a computer desk for €79.99, and sticky tape rollers for €1.99. More details here.

Meanwhile, as we mentioned last week, they’re selling kitchen equipment at knockdown prices. Click here to find out more.

  1. Just back from Lidl. Their rhubarb plants at €3.99 looked so sad and miserable. Maybe they grow bigger when you plant them?

  2. What a great idea for a blog, you got there before me, best of luck with it…

As a qualified horticulturalist I have to say the quality (for the most part) and the cost of the plants available at Lidl is simply amazing..

At last there is a supplier who is available for the frugal gardener…
