This offer is bound to be very popular indeed: from 9am tomorrow, Marks & Spencer will be selling a range of items in selected stores for just one cent each. The promotion is scheduled to last for three days, but M&S have made it clear that when the stock is gone, it’s gone.
It’s all to kick-start their 125th birthday celebrations. The full range of special commemorative products consists of five different jewellery sets, scarves, purses and knickers; cufflinks, ties and socks; leather passport holders and leather luggage tags; tea towels and mugs; bags of retro sweets, cans of retro drink, beach toys, and beach balls.
M&S customers can choose up to five products each and every cent donated will go towards the Marie Keating Foundation. Customers queuing early for Penny Bazaar products will also be given a free peel and reveal card with the chance to win one of 700,000 rewards.

Not too sure – definitely Grafton and probably Jervis too. Press release didn’t say. I’d be surprised if it wasn’t in most, if not all, branches

I went down today just for fun.
By 10:00 am, it was over though.
They had a couple things on offer and when the supply was gone, it was gone. So, I got a bag with five items handed to me because there wasn’t a selection to choose from – got a mug, a pair of knickers(!), two bags of sweets and a can of ginger beer. There was a HUGE line to get in….
All in all, nothing amazing – just kind of fun if you had the time. My attitude was hey, why not?
Is on tomorrow and Friday as well – and was told the selection would be more plentiful.
