3 for €7 at M&S

marks-and-spencers-logoMarks and Spencer are currently running a 3 for €7 promotion, which covers a wide range of foods.  You can pick up three deli, ready meal or salad items items for €7 .  Today I got a lovely spinach and ricotta quiche (that will do for two lunchtimes), a portion of prawn cocktail and some Parma ham.  Not too shabby.  Lots of the items are freezable as well, so it’s a good time to stock up.

  1. I got a Brocolli and Tomato Quiche, a packet of ham, and some marinaded olives. The ham wasn’t as good as I’d expect, a wee bit slimy and fatty, but the olives and quiche were top notch.

  2. Between this weekend and during the week i’ve gotten
chorizo (mighty tasty), falafel (good), spanish omlette (not tried yet), cocktail sausages (finished off in two absent minded muchinng sessions) and the parma ham (half is gone in a tasty spud dish, the other half is waiting its demise).

  3. Been living on this deal for weeks now. Spinach and Rictota quiche was a bit disappointing but we’ve made our way through sausage rolls, olives, butternut squash and chilli dip, smoked salmon, prawn cocktail, quiche lorraine, falafel, a veggie terrine thingy. Oh you get the picture!

  4. Their excellent chorizo, which normally costs around 4-5 euro is included in that deal also. I’m tempted to buy three of them, considering the amount I get through. Very good value.

  5. The turkey is nice, the smoked salmon v good, and apparently the chopped herring is lovely too, but fish + fruit + egg doesn’t appeal to me.

  6. The offer doesn’t seem to be across departments – I tried to buy olives, a quiche and a bag of rocket at the weekend and was told it was 3 deli items or 3 salad items.

  7. I think this is a good offer for the deli stuff. I got the summer vegetable quiche which was nice but needed something to jazz it up like relish. The parma ham was delish and demolished quickly but I also got the chorizo pate terrine thing and I was really disappointed – it tasted of very little and had an odd smell, not good.
