More coffee shop offers

Posted by: jean in: Bargains & Special Offers | Lunchtime

cappuccinoAfter running a post a couple of weeks back on offers from the coffee chains, we got some more tips on good places to get cheap coffee and lunchtime deals:

  • Dee says her local Cafe To Go (in Sandyford Industrial estate) have 2 for the price of 1 coffees between 9:30 and 10:30 and again from 2-4pm. They also have a lunch special with soup and a sandwich for around €5.
  • Java Express on Burgh Quay are offering a sandwich, crisps and a hot drink for €5.
  • Multiple Trinity students and staff recommended the JCR under Pearse Station, where any toasted sandwich/panini is €3 including a free tea or coffee, and where you can get a bowl of crunchy nut cornflake and a cup of tea for €2.

If you have any more tips, send them in!

Not a coffee shop .. but a cheap eat!
Chez max on baggot street .. just had their plat du jour €9.50 for two substantial pieces of skate, roast potatoes and delicious caper and almond butter sauce, coffee for €1.80. So lunch for two in a lovely restaurant with great service and good choice was €22.60.
Not as cheap as a sambo but close ….

  • Sinead: If you're anti-Nestle and into saving a few quid, there's a new Irish site selling Nespresso compatible pods for around 15% less. I've tried them and
  • SJ: I second the "Just off Francis" recommendation. Lovely little place!
