The Sunday Tribune informs me that Odessa will soon be launching €5 plates, available from Tuesday – Sunday, from 5-10pm. They’re described as ‘somewhere between tapas and main meal proportions‘, which is pretty vague really. Tapas could be anything from a tiny saucer with eight olives on it to a decent portion of stew, so we’ll have to check it out. I have mixed feelings about Odessa: their brunch is very good but I think their evening meals are a little overpriced. A friend of mine recently had the early bird menu there and said it was very underwhelming, and not particularly impressive value at €21 for two courses.
What do you think of Odessa? Will any of you try out their €5 plates?

Guess I’d be interested to see what their €5 plates consist of size-wise because I do, generally speaking, like the food at Odessa, even though I wouldn’t have said it was especially cheap.
