Despite the general perception of takeaways as a cheap night in, you can often end up paying way over the odds for the food.  If curries start at over €10, as they do in many Thai and Indian takeways, the cost even for one side and delivery adds up to quite a lot.  Of course [...]



In Dublin, it’s easy to find cheap Chinese, Korean, Indian, Vietnamese, and even Japanese eats. Thai food remains, by and large, relatively expensive. This shows no sign of changing.   • Maccers: Just saw this today and am considering it. I get food from their phibsboro branch, always hot always tasty. Might be a tad expensive but they run good
  • Nicole: Ho ho in rathmines is pretty tasty if you stick with their chinese menu. I agree completely about M&L being the best there is (in Dublin at least!
