I’ve eaten in Milano several times: I live and work close to their restaurants. My favourite dish is the pollo pesto, which comes to the table sizzling. I love cheese, so anything with Gruyère, Grana Padano and Parmesan suits me just fine!

I’m a big fan of Milano as the food is always good and the service always great, but by far my favorite (just by thinking about it i get hungry) is the thin crispy and hot Etna pizza, the description is perfect: “An eruption of flavours, scorching hot soft salami from Calabria, sweet fiery roquito peppers and smoked speck ham; finished with grated grana padano” nhaaam!! Perfect!!!

I LOVE the Pollo Verdure salad. I would never glance at the salad menu anywhere usually, but I once ordered this and was so pleasantly surprised.

Tender chicken, tasty roast veg, loads of leaves and gorgeous balsamic reduction. And the dough sticks on the side. Oh the dough sticks! I love them and knowing I will have them with my salad allows me to deviate from the dough balls for a starter!

This is not a salad for the weight watchers crew. It is a salad of indulgence. Pure, gorgeous indulgence. I really think it’s the best salad I have ever had.

A little bit of volcano on a Pizza, won’t make you explode but the heat will certainly get you rumbling.

I’ve eaten recently in Milano’s, Galway.

Apart from the lovely modern restaurant itself (which was buzzing), the food was lovely. Hubbie loves pizza and had the Diavola- said it was v. good.

I had pollo pesto- piping hot, and tasty: just the thing for the miserable evening outdoors that it was.

Didn’t get to have dessert, but next time.

Love my food, so would love to win this prize, and take out hubbie and friends, and write an even better review of Milano’s afterwards!
